The Fort Wayne Police Athletic League is committed to providing a safe and fun environment where sportsmanship is stressed. Since 1958 PAL has been helping the youth of Ft. Wayne through organized sports. Today PAL sponsers organized athletics like Football, Basketball, Tennis, Cheerleading, and Self-Defense. Everyday encouraging sportsmanship! Many people of taken advantage of PAL's programs and are excited to continue the experience year after year.
 50 Years ago, nine police officers from the Fort Wayne Police Department met in the squad room to create a local PAL... It was April, 1958.

PAL has many volunteers that help to continue the Police Athletic League's rich tradition. PAL has more than 50 years as a part of the Fort Wayne, IN community. It has served as the model for athletic development and sportsmanship for today's youth. Continued focus on the youth of our community is a corner stone of the Police Athletic League.
